# Column Name: Email
Markeing OS uses specific column names to avoid needing a configuration step.
To use email please make sure your board has a field called Email which contains an email address e.g. user@test.com
# Configuration
Email Configuration looks like this:
- Subject is the subject line
- CC is the CC (carbon copy) field
- BCC is the BCC (blind carbon copy) field
- The main message box is where you type your message.
- You can click the icon next to any of these fields to insert a field merge or URL merge.
- Click the "+" next to the main box to add a split test
- Click "Test" to create a test send.
# Settings
In the settings, Email can be configured under the "Email" tab. It needs the following settings:
- Email user
- Email Pass
- Email From
- Email SMTP
These details are the same as connecting to any email client (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and the exact same settings should work.
